Before you start

Nezify PDF Catalog Printer turns synchronized Shopify collections into catalogs and selected products into one-page sheets. Use an authorized Shopify staff account with access to the app. Have at least one product and a collection containing products ready in Shopify. You can start on Free; check Billing before generating final output.

See Plans and limits for current allowances and access.

Step 1 — Open the app in Shopify admin

  1. Open your store in Shopify admin using an authorized account.
  2. Choose Apps, then Nezify PDF Catalog Printer.
  3. If Shopify requests authorization during installation, review the requested access before approving it.
  4. Wait for the embedded Dashboard to load. A separate Nezify account is not required.

The app synchronizes products and collections and uses store/staff session information to connect your store. It does not request customer or order access. Read the app privacy policy for processing details.

Step 2 — Work through Quick setup

  1. On Dashboard, find Quick setup.
  2. Wait for the Shopify products step to show synchronized products. Initial synchronization must complete before the collection list is useful.
  3. Check the default template step. Review template opens the template gallery.
  4. Use Create catalog PDF when you are ready for the first final catalog.

The development-store example has completed all three steps. Your checklist reflects your own store. If products are missing, confirm they exist in Shopify, allow synchronization time and consult sync troubleshooting.

Step 3 — Review the starting design

  1. Open Settings and find Product Catalog templates.
  2. Choose Manage templates. The badge above it identifies the current design and layout.
  3. Keep the available default for the first catalog. Free starts with Classic; paid access can differ.
  4. Use Customize later when you want to change the design. You do not need to edit a template to print the first catalog.

Step 4 — Create and keep the first catalog

  1. Open Catalog PDFs.
  2. Choose a collection that contains products.
  3. Keep its template or choose another available template.
  4. Click Print PDF and follow the job in PDF History.
  5. Download the completed file before its displayed expiry.

For the full workflow, read Catalog PDFs. To create individual product sheets, first enable Product PDFs in Settings.

Read across the complete row: collection name, product count, assigned template and available action belong to the same collection

Expected result

You have synchronized products, know the selected design and have saved the completed PDF on your device. Quick setup records your store’s own progress; the screenshots show a test store that had already completed setup.

Important notes

  • Preview uses sample products. A final catalog uses synchronized Shopify collection data.
  • A successful new final catalog uses monthly allowance. Downloading an available file does not count again.
  • Keep your own downloaded copy; app-hosted output expires.

If setup does not look ready

  • No products: confirm products exist in Shopify and allow synchronization time.
  • Empty collection: check membership in Shopify before trying to print.
  • Product PDFs disabled: enable that separate workflow in Settings; catalog setup does not enable it automatically.

See Troubleshooting for specific failures.
