Customizing the TapTop Button and Progress Bar
Adjust TapTop Scroll color, placement, button style, icon, mobile sizing, progress position, and page targeting.
TapTop Scroll includes focused controls that help the widget fit different Shopify storefronts without changing theme code.
Choose the accent color
Select a color that remains visible against the storefront while still fitting the brand. Check contrast on both light and dark page sections.
Set button position and style
Choose the left or right bottom corner based on other fixed storefront controls. Select the button shape and icon that best matches the theme. Avoid overlapping chat, cookie, or sticky cart interfaces.
Adjust mobile size
Use small, medium, or large mobile sizing. Test on a narrow viewport to confirm the button is comfortable to tap without covering important content.
Configure reading progress
Enable the progress bar when it helps visitors understand long content. Choose the top or bottom edge and check that the accent color is visible. Disable progress on short pages when it adds no useful information.
Choose page targeting
Apply the control to all pages or focus it on relevant product, collection, or blog content. Page targeting helps keep the widget present where scrolling effort is highest.
Preview and save
Use the dashboard preview to test the button and progress behavior with the selected settings. Save the configuration, then verify it on a storefront page covered by the targeting rule.
